The Factory Youth Zone are currently recruiting for a number of youth work vacancies:

Targeted Youth Work Manager (1 x full time post available, fixed term, 12 month contract)

We are seeking an experienced Youth Worker with a proven track record in designing and delivering effective programmes to engage at risk young people. The post holder will manage and deliver targeted interventions with young people, meeting the aims and objectives of different funding contracts.

The Targeted Youth Worker Manager will oversee intervention projects that are safe, inclusive and improve the lives of disadvantaged young people aged 9-18 who have challenges that prevent them engaging in mainstream activity, such as being ‘at risk of offending’, NEET, Looked After or In Care.

Leadership Youth Worker (1 x 30 hours per week post available, fixed term, 18 month contract)

Deadline for applications: 5.00pm on Thursday 21 July 2016

Interview dates: Thursday 4 and Friday 5 August 2016

We are seeking an experienced Youth Worker to coordinate a new funded project, Learn to Lead, facilitating a new generation of young leaders in Moston and Harpurhey.  The Leadership Youth Worker will work in partnership with Fourteen and Forever Manchester to design and deliver training programmes to extend leadership and volunteering opportunities for young people in the area.

The Leadership Youth Worker will also lead Youth Work delivery on our Saturday evening session, which focuses on the transition between Juniors and Seniors.
